Letters
from Seaquarium Patrons
Hi,
I went to the Seaquarium more or less to check on the sea
turtles. I volunteer at the Marinelife Center in Juno Beach
and wanted to see how their sea turtles looked. To be honest
I was horrified in just about every aspect of the park!
I think it is truly sick that an aquarium is able to get
away with forcing animals to perform for meals. So please
send me info. or updates if you can. Thank you so much,
I knew going into this place was a bad idea and I was right!
I will spread the word to as many people as possible...
Kristine
Hello,
Today
I had to make a trip to the Miami Aquarium to see what it
was truly like there. I was appalled at what I saw. I can't
believe that that place is open. And I can't believe that
the city still lets that place be open. I need to help,
how can I help. I can say that I will never go there again,
and I am spreading the word to keep everyone else I know
from visiting that place again. The people outside there
today reached someone, they reached me.
Thanks
Shane

from New Supporter
I
must first say thank you for all the painstakingly work
you and you're colleagues have endured to put this program
together. If it weren't for people like you, our beautiful
marine creatures future would be much dimmer. I only wish
I could be there too.
These creatures deserve much dignity and respect. If it
were up to me, the "Seaworlds" of America would
be a thing of the past. Like the general public, I had no
idea what really happens behind closed doors. I admit when
I was 13 yrs. old my family took me to Seaworld in San Diego
and I was fascinated and yet saddened at the same time...at
13!! I felt guilty for being there, knowing deep down inside
most of those glorious animals belonged in the wild with
their families, yet felt powerless to do or say anything
at the time.
Please don't give up and keep up the fight. Thank
you for your time and of course all your blessed efforts.
Sincerely,
Kelly
